Objectives

Science is an often neglected subject, especially in elementary school. In the early grades, the controversy continues surrounding the best method to teach science.

Our key objective is to

• stimulate interest and a love for Science thru hands-on experiments and field trips

• introduce important Scientific concepts

• develop an interest in amazing scientific discoveries to stimulate their critical thinking

• provide satisfaction, joy, and thrill of meeting challenges

Approach

We have developed a year-long Science program in each course to get our Explorers excited in Science with fun-filled, hands-on experience. GATE Students & Parent Coaches meet once every week for an hour to enrich GATE student's scientific discoveries with advanced hands-on experiments and field trips.
